JIM ECKLER

JIM ECKLER is President and CEO of Progistix-Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of SCI Logistics Inc. Progistix is a third party logistics services provider for technology companies such as Bell Canada and Xerox, and retail companies such as Amazon.ca, Canada Post and Lowe's Canada through Assured Logistics Inc.

Jim's background includes over 25 years of experience in the logistics field. His business focuses on developing and operating logistics outsourcing services for companies that demand complex, high value services. His background includes business strategy development, operations productivity, and logistics information technology strategy. Prior to joining Progistix in 1995, Jim was a senior executive with another logistics company and for over 15 years prior to that, he was a logistics management consultant in the US and Canada.

Jim is a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and in Management Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a past chairman of the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Canada. As well, he is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Ontario. Jim has authored numerous articles on a broad range of logistics topics and is the author of a textbook on transportation issued by the Purchasing Management Association of Canada. He is a frequent speaker and has lectured at York University, McGill University, University of Toronto, and University of British Columbia.

 

LOUISE VILLENEUVE

LOUISE VILLENEUVE is Vice-President, Business Development and Marketing.  Louise has spent her entire career in the telecommunications industry, where she held a number of executive-level positions.

Louise earned an International MBA from Ottawa University as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Université de Montréal.  As a Leadership Foundation Fellow of the International Women’s Forum, she has completed leadership development programs at Harvard University and the University of Cambridge.

Louise is a member of the board of La Fondation du Père Lindsay.

 

 

PAUL RAGAN

PAUL RAGAN is Vice President of Operations, Progistix-Solutions Inc.
Paul’s background includes over 30 years of specialized experience in operations, project management, process & workflow reengineering, client management, and strategic planning.  Prior to joining Progistix, Paul’s held senior management roles in the logistics industry.

Paul received his Business Management Degree from University of Alberta and is a member of Supply Chain & Logistics Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. 

 

 

ANN NELSON

ANN NELSON is Vice-President, Information Technology for Progistix-Solutions Inc. Ann's background includes over 21 years of experience in the Information Technology field, with 7 in Logistics. She has managed Information Technology departments and projects primarily for companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods and Food industry. Her background includes technology strategy, technology selection and implementation, IT organizational design, application development and implementation, as well as the management of a variety of support and development functions within Information Technology. Prior to joining Progistix, Ann was the North American Applications Manager for Corn Products International/CASCO. For over 10 years previous to that, she held Information Technology management positions within Canada.

Ann is a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Additional education includes Dalhousie Executive Management Program, Quality Management Training, as well as various technical and application programs.

 

ANN Pompilio

ANN Pompilio is Chief Financial Officer for Progistix-Solutions Inc. Ann's background includes over 15 years of experience in finance. She has been with Progistix almost since its creation, which was October 1995. Her focus is on process efficiency, business process design, cost control, risk mitigation, and providing key financial support to the corporate decision-making process. Prior to joining Progistix, Ann held senior management roles with LensCrafters Canada and TNT Canada.

Ann is a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute with a degree in Business Administration, and is a member of the Canadian Association of Supply Chain and Logistics Management.

 

STEVE PHINNEY

STEVE PHINNEY is Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services for Progistix-Solutions Inc. Steve's background includes over 25 years experience in the field of Human Resources. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to strategically work with companies, unions and employees across Canada to develop and implement sustainable change initiatives that improve service, increase business competitiveness and address employment security. Prior to joining Progistix in 1996, Steve held senior human resource and operations management roles in the manufacturing and food industries, where he gained significant experience in employee relations, training and development and production operations.

Steve is a graduate of Mount Allison University, and the Nova Scotia Teachers College, with a degree in Education. He also holds a Certified Human Resources Professional designation through the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario.
